Non-contact radar level gauges usually have small antennas for easy installation. However, guided wave radar level transmitters use contact measurement, and when

Guided wave radar level measurement transmitter installation

If the cable installed on the guided wave radar level transmitter is too long, do not wrap it, knot it, or fix it on other objects, otherwise it may cause inaccurate guided wave radar level measurement or even make it impossible to measure. The solution is to properly cut the excessively long cable. The specific steps include: 1. Cut off the power supply of the guided wave radar level transmitter; 2. Remove the cable and weight on the guided wave radar level meter; 3. Make necessary cuts at the end of the cable; 4. Reinstall the parts and restore the power supply, and adjust the instrument parameters.

For cable-type guided wave radar level transmitters with sleeves, they need to be sent back to the manufacturer for cutting, and individuals cannot perform this operation.

1. Will the cable shake? The answer is unacceptable. The shaking of the cable may collide with the inner wall of the container, causing the guided wave radar liquid level measurement indication to fluctuate, thereby affecting the measurement accuracy. This problem can be solved by increasing the bottom weight or strengthening the fixation.

2. Can the guided wave radar liquid level transmitter be installed above an obstacle? In actual operation, avoid installing the level meter above an obstacle, because the obstacle may generate misleading signals, interfere with the real signal, and thus affect the measurement results. Avoid obstacles as much as possible during installation.
